A foreboding and melancholy opening is shattered by the shriek of specter. The guitars sound as if surfacing from dark and murky waters while the drums pound like ancient earth and the vocals are consumingly multidirectional. The album as a whole induces a grief stricken trance that leaves you hollow upon its completion. A breathe of humid air in an saturated environment. Reece Knippel

Getting swept up in the merciless undertow driving these all-consuming black-metal songs is half the fun. The other half is in the riffs. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 17, 2019
