I love the mix of quiet melancholy and soaring wonder here. Listening makes me feel like I am looking up at the night sky on another world, watching impossible boreal colors dance along the horizon while tall trees sway in the keening wind, and gray-cloaked figures add their own long-dead voices to the joyful lament.

Not much variation, but that isn't necessary for mood/ambient music. The 14 short and 1 long track basically sound like one piece. The atmosphere is convincing: melancholic and cavernous. The sound is strong: murky and mossy it enhances the experience. This is truly "dungeon synth". It's "old school", but it does not remind of Mortiis so it seems original and authentic. Sounds from a sad soul, for sad souls.
